Q. How much notice is required to place an order? A. I require a minimum of two weeks notice. However, sometimes I can fit in a last minute order, so contact a cake dream to check. You never know!
Q. Is there a charge for rush orders? A. Yes, there is a $15 minimum rush charge for any order that is accepted with less than 72 hours notice.
Q. Is a deposit required when placing an order? A. Any order that is above $100 requires a 50% non-refundable deposit when ordering. The balance is due in full at time of delivery or pick up.
Q. What are your prices for wedding and celebration cakes? A. Prices vary according to flavor, size, and intricacy of design. I believe that a cake is a cake, no matter what the occasion, and that there should be no price difference, I do not charge differently for wedding cakes. Standard cake flavors and fillings start at $3.50/serving for Buttercream and $4/serving for Fondant. Gourmet flavor combinations start at $4/serving for Buttercream and $4.50/serving for Fondant.
Q. Do you offer taste testings? A. Yes. There is a $25 charge for the taste testing, which includes a variety of three cake flavors and three fillings. This amount will be applied towards orders over $150. Contact a cake dream for more information.
Q. Do you make cupcakes? A. Absolutely! Any cake flavor can be replicated in cupcake. Prices start at $15/dozen for standard flavors. Don’t forget that prices vary based on flavor and design.
Q. Do you have an online store? A. Absolutely! The Art Gallery Cookies are available for purchase at www.shop.acakedream.com and can be shipped worldwide with a couple of clicks on the computer!
Q. Do you make custom cookies? A. Absolutely! In addition, I offer Corporate Logo Cookies, Photo Cookies, and Promotional Event Cookies. Contact a cake dream for more information.
Q. Do you offer birthday parties? A. Yes, I am available for cookie and cake decorating parties. Please contact a cake dream for more information.
Q. Do you offer classes? A. Yes, classes and private lessons are available throughout the year. Please contact a cake dream for more information and to join the mailing list. Be sure to let me know if you have a request for a particular class.
Q. My child is having a birthday party and I would love to have some party favors. What do you offer? A. There are a variety of cookie designs that you can choose to hand out as party favors. a cake dream also offers a specialty Cookie Art Goody Bag which is perfect for any themed party. Q. Are you nut free or Kosher. A. Sorry, but at this time I am not.
Q. Do you have a retail store where I can walk in and purchase a cake? A. No, a cake dream is a by-appointment only shop which specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
Q. Do you deliver only wedding cakes? A. No, I can deliver any order within New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. Delivery is free within Randolph Township. Beyond that, delivery fees begin at $25 and are subject to change according to distance, design, and set up time.
Q. Can you ship cakes or cookies? A. Cookies can be shipped anywhere worldwide for an additional charge. Or you can visit the online store to order Art Gallery Cookies. However, a cake dream does not ship cakes.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept? A. Payment is accepted in the form of cash or check. |
